Grants are made to organisations which provide invaluable contributions to the health and well being of Sutton Coldfield residents.
These have included, over time, the establishment of the St Gile's Hospice and Cancer Support Day Centre Day in Lindridge Road, helping towards the costs of counselling services, family support for those suffering peri-natal depression, a unique service for those suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and for those suffering from domestic abuse.
Significant grants have been made to Good Hope Hospital heart and cancer departments and to the heart, liver and burns units at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
