The Relief of those in Need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
Every year, the Trust offers school clothing grants, in the form of vouchers, to low-income families who live in the former Borough of Sutton Coldfield and are in receipt of certain benefits.
Individuals in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, can make an application for items such as domestic equipment, further education, childcare costs and to meet other needs.
The Trust supports a broad range of organisations and activities that share a commitment to making a positive impact to the lives of the communities in the former Borough of Sutton Coldfield and have effective solutions to helping those most in need. The relief of those in need has always been at the core of the Trust’s purpose.
To this end it has supported many organisations including the Royal British Legion, Stepping Stones, which delivers training for adults with learning disabilities, the Norman Laud Association, Age UK, Homestart and the Parkinson's disease Society.
